Meeting called to order at: 7:05 pm


New Business: The PC is meeting to discuss the Messier subdivision.  The PC only had the paper map to view as the Mylar was in the Town Clerk safe.  Dave said that the paper map is like the Mylar which is not as detailed as a sketch plan.  The Mylar and paper map only shows one 3.3 acre lot rather than three 1.1 acre lots.  The Mylar is out of date as it was done when the buyer was interested. Subsequently, the buyer changed his mind and wanted the lot divided into three smaller lots.  The change never was put onto a Mylar. 

Rolland asked the PC if the engineer (Hango) has a map of house locations, septic, wells, and driveways.  The PC feels that that information is needed in order to make an informed decision. The lots are each 7 feet short of regulations, and there is ledge on the property. 

The PC decided to table their decision until they have a detailed sketch plan.  The matter will be discussed at the December 15, 2020 PC meeting. 

Sam will email the Messiers regarding the decision of the PC. 

Dave made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:21.  Rolland seconded the motion.  The meeting was adjourned at 7:21.


The next regular meeting of the Franklin Planning Commission will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2021.  Location TBA.
